From Education to Leadership: Advancing Underrepresented Voices in Neonatal Care is a live webinar that explores how informal systems of recognition within clinical and academic professional advancement often create unequal opportunities for BIPOC clinicians despite equivalent or higher qualifications.
Drawing on evidence from peer‑reviewed literature, the presentation examines patterns of unequal recognition and their impact on leadership development, faculty representation, and career pathways in neonatal nursing. The session incorporates real professional examples, guided reflection, and takeaway strategies to deepen awareness and promote change at both individual and organizational levels.
The webinar will be held live on Wednesday, January 25th, at 4:30 p.m. Central Time.
