NANN member surveys and national nursing workforce reports ongoing confusion and limited exposure to the evolving roles of APRNs and Nurse Executives in neonatal care. Literature trends, such as ICN Our Nurses, Our Future, APRN workforce reports, and NICU workforce stress/burnout studies, underline the need for a more precise understanding of career pathways and leadership roles to enhance recruitment, retention, and professional engagement in neonatal care. Members have also expressed a desire for structured career-development content, according to previous conference evaluations. Collectively, these data reveal a knowledge gap in advanced practice and executive roles, underscoring the need for a structured webinar series to deliver focused education.
The webinar will be held live on Wednesday, January 14th, at 4:00 p.m. Central Time.
